    Homemade vanilla syrup

    Lewis Jaffrey, recipe sufficient for 750 ml: Mix in a saucepan 3 Madagascan vanilla pods cut in halves lengthwise with 1 kg of sugar and 750 ml of still mineral water. Heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour into a bottle, cool and store in refrigerator.
