The famous Norman liquor decorated with inscription of DOM - DEO Optimo Maximo («to God, most good, most great ") is made from 27 secret herbs and spices in four stages. After maceration and distillation the resulted spirits are kept separately, and then mixed for 11 months in oak barrels. Then mixed with water, brandy, honey and burnt sugar. That brings us to the final stage of 3-month aging.
