    How to Make the Pirate

    • Fill a highball glass to the top with ice cubes
    • Place a slice of ginger root into a shaker and muddle
    • Pour in 15 ml of lemon juice, 10 ml of almond syrup, 20 ml of maraschino liqueur, 20 ml of dry orange liqueur and 40 ml of spiced rum
    • Add 5 dashes of angostura bitters
    • Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake
    • Fine strain into the highball glass
    • Top up with sprite and stir gently
    • Garnish with a maraschino cherry, a slice of ginger and lime wedges
