Strong Mulled Wine

Cocktail recipe Strong mulled wine

• Chop a quarter of orange, a quarter of lemon and a half of apple into small pieces
• Place the fruits into a milk pitcher
• Pour in 40 ml of honey, 150 ml of dry red wine and 50 ml of cognac
• Add 2 cloves and a pinch of ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg and ground black pepper
• Stir while heating, but do not bring to the boil
• Pour into an irish coffee glass
• Garnish with apple wedges and a maraschino cherry on a cocktail skewer
